EUM's Youth Department needs your help!

Do you enjoy spending time with Middle and High School students? Do you feel God pushing you to reach out to others with your faith? Please consider volunteering in one of the following positions:

Small Group Leader

Commitment:

Sunday mornings, 8:45-10:15 am, September-May.

Description of duties:

§ Study and prepare small group studies or topical group discussions—with materials provided by the youth pastor—for youth ministry small group meetings.

§ Pray for the members of the small group.

§ Provide personal contact information for youth group members and parents–and be accessible to them.

§ Lead in a meaningful prayer time for group members and their requests.

§ Maintain contact with group members outside of the youth ministry small group meeting to encourage them in their spiritual growth.

§ Attend small group training bi-monthly.

Confirmation Group Leader

Commitment:

Sunday mornings, 8:45-10:15 am, September-April.

Description of duties:

§ Study and prepare for confirmation discussions—with materials provided by the middle school director—for confirmation.

§ Pray for the members of the confirmation group.

§ Assist the lead confirmation teacher, Katie Steiner, with leading small group discussion, service projects and weekly lesson planning.

§ Lead in a meaningful prayer time for group members and their requests.

§ Maintain contact with group members outside of the confirmation group meeting to encourage them in their spiritual growth.

§ Attend small group leader training every two months.
