P.A.C.T. - Parents and Church Together
We believe that when parents and church work together for the common goal of developing their children's faith in Jesus Christ, families will be strengthened and God Will be glorified.
Parent involvement is a cornerstone of Forever Friends ministry at EUM.
Ways to Get Involved
Parent Rotation Ministry
Parents of Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool classes are asked to serve 4-6 times per year. This involves assisting the teaching team with crafts, games, snacks, etc. No preparation is required.
Juice and Snack Donations
Parents of Nursery, Toddler, and Preschool classes are asked to donate fruit juice and a snack on the day they are scheduled to serve in the classroom. Providing snacks is a small but very helpful contribution.
Summer Rotations
Parents of K – 5th graders are often asked to assist in elementary programs during the summer months. This involves 1-2 Sundays per summer of helping staff in either SHOUT or M & M’s. Materials are provided.
Elementary Vacation Bible School
This summer event of 4 nights offers many parents the opportunity to help while witnessing a powerful event of Forever Friends. Opportunities include assisting with games, snacks, storytelling, crafts, decorations, and more.
Parents with children attending Preschool VBS can volunteer during any of the three morning sessions.
M & M’s “Behind the Scenes”
Parents of M & M’s (Music & More) may be called upon to help with costumes, set design, or other needed supplies for the semi-annual musical performances. Bringing your child to rehearsals and helping them practice songs at home are also beneficial.
